Greetings, dear friends and neighbors of Rome and beyond! As we embark on this new endeavor, Rome Public Adjusting (RomePA), I wanted to share some thoughts about what truly drives our mission. You might be familiar with the term "Public Adjuster," which accurately describes the professional and legal capacity in which we serve you. We are licensed advocates for policyholders, standing by your side to navigate the often complex world of insurance claims.
But recently, the thought arose: are we just Public Adjusters? Or is there a deeper dimension to our work? The answer, I believe, lies in a beautiful synergy: Public Adjuster and, in a very real sense, Private Adjuster – porque no los dos!
Let's delve into what this means, especially through the lens of our Orthodox Christian faith.
The Public Role: Advocating for Justice
Legally and professionally, RomePA operates as a Public Adjuster. This means we are here to represent you, the insured, in your dealings with insurance companies. We are your advocates, your negotiators, and your experts, ensuring that your claim is handled fairly, equitably, and according to the terms of your policy.
In an Orthodox context, this role resonates deeply with the scriptural call to seek justice for the vulnerable (Isaiah 1:17) and to plead the cause of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9). We believe in ensuring that our clients receive what is rightfully due to them, especially during times of loss and hardship. Our professional expertise is the tool we use to manifest this pursuit of justice in the earthly realm of insurance claims.
The Private Heart: Caring for the Individual
While our legal designation is "Public Adjuster," the heart of our work beats with a deeply personal and "private" rhythm. When a loss occurs – whether it's damage to your home, a disruption to your business, or any other insured event – it's not just about paperwork and policies. It's about real people facing real challenges. It's about your peace of mind, your security, and your ability to rebuild and restore your life.
This is where the "Private Adjuster" aspect comes in. We approach each case with the understanding that we are walking alongside an individual or a family during a difficult time. Our care is one-on-one, tailored to your unique situation and needs. This mirrors the pastoral care we strive to offer, where empathy, understanding, and genuine concern are paramount. As the Apostle Paul urged us, we seek to "bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).
A Symphony of Service
It is this beautiful combination – the public role and the private heart – that defines Rome Public Adjusting. Our professional skills as Public Adjusters are the means through which we express our deeply held commitment to caring for each individual we serve. The legal framework provides the structure for our advocacy, while our Orthodox phronema guides us to treat every client with the compassion and respect they deserve.
Just as the Good Samaritan went above and beyond to care for the wounded traveler (Luke 10:30-37), we strive to go the extra mile for our clients, ensuring not just a settlement, but a path towards genuine restoration.
So, when you ask, "Public Adjuster or Private Adjuster?" our answer is wholeheartedly, "Porque no los dos!" We are here to serve the public with private, personalized care, guided by the principles of justice, compassion, and a deep understanding that people are for caring.
